Quota logic
Representativeness is critical in many surveys and so it is important to have quota logic. E.g. You might require 50 males and 50 females. If the 50 males quota is reached, the system would then terminate any additional males attempting the survey. Obviously these questions are placed at the beginning of the questionnaire. Most applications allow for multiple quotas to be implemented. E.g. gender, age and income.

Testing Feedback and Point Vaulues
I just attempted to build my first test with SG and had a couple of suggestions:
The question point input field would not allow percentages, only whole numbers. I was trying to assign 1.3 points per question, but the program would not take them.
It would be very nice if a student taking the test could see the score upon completion of the test.
It's possible that these two suggestions above are available and I just missed them, but if they are not current features, they should be added as they would certainly enhance the program's usefulness.

randomise the web survey ID's
Whilst I have not had a problem so far (that I know off), I would prefer the reference numbers for the surveys to be a little more random, rather than sequential.
Currently it would not take an IT genius to run havoc with the surveys, by guessing the currently running web surveys addresses.

Mobile app feature request
I love Survey Gold... we have been using it for years. One thing that would be great, would be to have a simple dashboard tool or even a mobile app that I could access Survey Gold information from my iPhone. Often I am traveling, or out of the office and would like to find out survey response information on the fly. It would be great to have a mobile site or app that could access my account to show me top level information on my surveys. Just a suggestion!
1 voteJeremy, thanks for the feature suggestion. We’ve been doing some R&D on a web link (URL) that can display summary of responses per survey in real-time. Are you interested in trying it out?

Community email survey campaign suggestions
Can I make suggestions for the email campaign options. I did not find options below in help files.
Is it possible to define where the 'call-to-action link text' appears in the body of the email, it automatically appears at the bottom, which after the address info and opt out link it is a little hard to find.
Is it possible to copy the email survey options along with the copy of a survey, so as you copy a new survey in setup survey, then the email survey campaign is copied along with it. This option would additionally require the manage…

report output feature request
When exporting results, would it be possible to export the 'word report' cumulative totals to excel (or csv)? Alternatively, would it be possible to get the enumeration numbers (very good = 5 good = 4 average =3 etc) values in export to excel/one respondent per record, as currently you get the name of the category only (very good etc).
I am trying to find an easier way of analysing my surveys, as currently I need to manually copy the tallied up values from the word report into an excel template.
I notice the one response per record has the enumeration…

Allow respondent to Print the filled in survey.
I sometimes use Surveygold to create a data collection instrument. Respondents will fill out the form and it would be useful for them to be able to print a copy of the completed form as well as submitting it. I know there is a clear data to reset the form/survey but not a print function. I have in the past have had people print/capture each page, one at a time, to a pdf file.
1 voteJerry, thanks for the suggestion. This this feature is under consideration for a future release. It should be a fairly straightforward feature to implement as SurveyGold already provides the ability to email responses to respondents. We would just need to implement a variation of this existing functionality.
We do have a question for you. In thinking about how to implement this capability, we are thinking of one of two designs. We would be interested in knowing what you (and others) think of these options:
A) When the respondent submits the Submit Your Responses button, the confirmation message appears as usual and the submitted responses are displayed below them. The respondent can print the displayed responses.
B) When the respondent submits the Submit Your Responses button, the confirmation message appears as usual and a Print Your Responses button appears. The respondent clicks the button and the submitted responses are displayed. The…

Non-Latin characters
Given the number of clients we have in the Pacific Rim, support for non-Latin character sets would be a welcome addition.

Conditionally email notification based on response provided
Provide the ability to notify one or more email addresses that a particular response was provided to a survey. This would be particularly useful in circumstances where an expected response could go largely unnoticed, but where an unexpected or out-of-range response could be immediately raised to the attention of one or more stakeholders via an email message.

Complex Exam Scoring
I attach the best I could find – they are all in Zettl: Television Production Handbook and Workbook. (Wadsworth)
If the software can match a number of conditions in the questions with a number of conditions in the answer (which would be the same as ranking), as these examples show, I reckon that SurveyGold will be up there with the best educational software.
I repeat what I said before – I personally would be happy to pay for a testing module as an add-on, in other words, with a premium subscription.
The reason is that training schools also need to…

Verify the sum of a set of responses in a section
I have a section that needs to have all responses add up to 100 point. Each question in the section has a numeric value associated with it. The survey should not proceed unless the responses add up properly.

Randomize or rotate answer choices for a given question
One important feature that I can't seem to find (but hopefully have just missed) is the ability for SurveyGold to rotate or randomize answer choices for a given question so that respondents are not inclined to just select the first answer choice listed.
