Problem: Error occurs when saving a survey or results to Microsoft Word

An application error message appears when saving a survey to Microsoft Word in the Setup Survey tab or when performing the Publish Word action.

This can often be resolved by changing an application preference:
  1. Select Help.
  2. Select Change Application Preferences.
  3. In the Features tab, change Microsoft Word automation method from 1 to 2 and select OK.
    Note: If the automation method is already set to 2, then change it to 1 and select OK.
